Job description
  • We’re looking for someone hands-on, team focused individual to help keep our wastewater treatment sites running smoothly.
  • Based on site, you’ll carry out essential tasks across a number of treatment sites, helping us meet important environmental, safety and customer standards.
  • From taking samples and readings to cleaning and routine checks, your work will play a key part in protecting public health, the environment, and the communities we serve.
  • Key accountabilities include carrying out day-to-day operational and maintenance tasks across wastewater treatment processes.
  • Helping ensure our sites meet environmental regulations and performance targets.
  • Taking a hands-on approach to both planned and reactive work.
  • Adapting to change tasks and priorities as needed.
  • Carry out routine checks, inspections, and maintenance tasks across operational sites.
  • Support with investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions where required.
    A full UK driving license is required.
  • Worked in a related industry with similar operational environments and technical demands.
  • Knowledge of environmental output standards, compliance requirements, and procedures.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
  • Able to always follow processes and work safely.
  • Comfortable working in a physically active, hands-on role.
  • Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • A flexible approach to work changing tasks and priorities.
  • Willingness and ability to work towards an accredited qualification relevant to the role.
