Overview

You will join one of Europe\'s leading PCB manufacturers in the heart of Devon. The Opportunity: If you are an experienced Process Engineer or an Engineering or Chemistry Graduate, this could be the perfect role for you. The position would suit someone who has been a Process Engineer within a Manufacturing or Engineering environment, or a more recent graduate with a BEng. Your role as Process Engineer will be 50/50 hands on and report writing, so it is essential that you have strong critical and logical thinking and a fantastic approach to problem solving.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and control processes on the shop floor of the Printed Circuit Board factory, advising on technical matters and ensuring processes produce products that meet standards agreed with customers in defence, aviation, medical and telecommunications industries.
  • Attend to process issues as they arise and communicate effectively with Production and Quality personnel to maintain product quality to the highest standard.
  • Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve issues in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Develop new techniques to increase the company\'s capability; by improving efficiency, yield or reducing waste, continuously utilizing engineering skills to provide increasingly more complex products.
What you will bring to the Team
  • Preferably 2+ years of experience in engineering, or a Bachelor\'s degree in science / engineering.
  • Logical thinking and a good application of the scientific method.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and excellent data and statistical analysis skills.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of detail.
  • Good understanding of technical documentation.
