Private Sector Tenancy Enforcement Officer, (x2 fixed term vacancies)

Cambridge City Council is seeking two passionate Private Sector Tenancy Enforcement Officers to help ensure tenants in the private rented sector are treated fairly, safeguarded from poor practices, and live in safe, good condition homes.
As a Tenancy Enforcement Officer, you’ll be at the forefront of enforcing the Renters’ Rights Act:

We’re looking for candidates with experience working with the public, handling investigations, and delivering advice or advocacy. You should be able to manage a busy workload, communicate clearly, and with knowledge of relevant legislation, apply legal and housing standards confidently. 2 year Fixed Term
£37,280 - £41,771 per annum (City Pay Band 5), pro rata for part time.
This is flexible – working in Cambridge on site or at one of our offices or working from home. You will be able to balance your work location accordingly.
