A well-established law firm in Midsomer Norton is seeking a Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive with at least 2 years' PQE to manage Private Client matters. Location: Midsomer Norton (Hybrid option available)
Hours: Full time or part time (flexible working arrangements considered)
Salary: £40,000 to £55,000 DOE
PQE: 2 years+

Chadwick Nott are pleased to be working with a well-established high street law firm in Somerset, currently seeking a Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to join their busy Midsomer Norton office.

This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer with solid experience in Private Client work to take the next step in their career. You'll be joining a friendly, community-focused team with a strong local reputation and a supportive working environment.

The Role
You will manage a varied caseload of Private Client matters, including:

  • Advising on Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Estate Administration
  • Handling probate and inheritance matters
  • Trusts experience desirable but not essential
  • Delivering high standards of client care
  • Supporting marketing and business development initiatives
  • Contributing to the growth of the department


Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified Solicitor or FCILEx with at least 2 years PQE. Ideal candidates will demonstrate:

  • Strong technical knowledge of Private Client law
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commercial awareness and enthusiasm for marketing
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Desire to contribute to departmental growth


Working Arrangements

  • Based in the firm's Midsomer Norton office. Both full-time and part-time applicants are welcome, and flexible working arrangements will be considered.
