Job description
Overview

Private Client Solicitor – Unique Opportunity with a Leading Legal 500 North West London Firm

I’m pleased to be partnering with a highly respected Legal 500 firm in North London on a rare private client opportunity with a distinctive and meaningful element.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the full breadth of traditional private client work while also seeking something a little different to enhance their learning.

A fair percentage of the workload will cover the usual mix of wills, LPAs, probate and estate planning.

The remaining portion involves private client work supporting individuals affected by the Infected Blood Inquiry. Many of these clients are navigating government compensation processes and continue to rely on the firm for wills, LPAs and estate administration.

The probate work connected to infected and affected blood victims carries a unique degree of complexity. Cabinet Office guidance is still evolving, identifying entitled beneficiaries can be challenging and some matters may involve elements of contentious probate. Prior experience is not essential — genuine interest in learning this area is what matters. The firm will walk candidates through this aspect fully during the interview process to ensure clarity and informed decision-making.

Benefits
  • Full Flexibility on hybrid working
  • 35-hour week, Monday to Friday, 9.15am to 5.30pm with a 1 hour 15 minute break
  • 25 days’ holiday
  • Life assurance at 4x basic salary
  • Group Income Protection
  • Private healthcare available
  • On-site parking

If you’re a private client lawyer looking for variety, meaningful work and a progressive London firm where you can genuinely make an impact, I’d love to hear from you.
