Private Client Associate/Solicitor – London – An award-winning, top-tier City law firm is seeking an Associate (3–5 PQE) to join its highly regarded Private Client Offshore practice. This is a full-time, permanent position, offering the opportunity to work with leading partners on sophisticated international private wealth matters. The team advises high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families, family offices, and trustees across multiple jurisdictions on a wide range of international tax, trust, and estate planning issues. The firm’s private client practice is recognised by Legal 500 and Chambers, and is a STEP Employer.

You will advise both UK-resident and non-resident international clients on matters including:

  • Structuring and protecting wealth in the UK and offshore;
  • Establishment and management of trusts and other wealth-holding vehicles;
  • Cross-border estate and succession planning, including Will drafting and UK tax advice;
  • Coordination with international legal, tax, and fiduciary advisers; and
  • Implementation of complex international structuring strategies.
About You
  • Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales), with ideally 3–5 years’ PQE in private client or tax law;
  • Strong experience advising international HNW/UHNW clients on cross-border matters;
  • Exposure to trusts, tax planning, and offshore structures;
  • STEP qualification (or willingness to obtain);
  • Excellent technical ability, client handling, and project management skills;
  • Commercial mindset with an interest in business development.
