A prominent healthcare provider in Greater London seeks an experienced midwife to join their private caseload team as a key member. The role involves providing individualised care to women during antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal periods within a supportive environment. Candidates must demonstrate strong clinical leadership skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage a caseload efficiently while adhering to professional standards. This is a great opportunity for an experienced and aspiring midwife to progress in their career as a key member of the private caseload midwife team within the Division of Women's, Children and Clinical services (WCCS).
We are looking for an experienced band 6 or band 7 midwife who is passionate about continuity of care to join our team. You will work closely with a small team of private caseload midwives and Consultant Obstetricians to provide individualised women centered care for a specific client group.
Are you seeking to progress your career or looking for a new challenge? This might be the job for you. The role requires proven skills and experience in all aspects of midwifery care. As a band 7 midwife you will also be required to demonstrate strong clinical leadership skills within your role, be easily identifiable, highly visible and accessible to patients, carers and junior staff. Management duties may be required occasionally as required within the role.
You will need to be very organised and efficient to manage the team's caseload. In addition we are looking for candidates with evidence of effective communication and an understanding of the importance of Multidisciplinary decision making skills to influence and sustain high care standards, safety and quality.
