Responsibilities

• Administer medicines to patients against valid prescriptions and ensure correct use.
• Dispense prescriptions and stock items, including stock top-up services and expiry date reviews.
• Supervise assistants in the dispensary and provide dispensing services.
• Report deficiencies and assist in writing, updating, and monitoring medicines optimisation SOPs.
• Provide patient advice on medicine use and healthy lifestyles.
• Work as part of a 7-day rota to provide medicines administration service.
