Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, fulfilling all spoken aspects of the role.
• Ability to maintain security and report suspicious activities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct gate/portal duties and ensure secure entry and exit.
• Operate establishment radio system and monitor CCTV.
• Book visits and escort visitors as needed.
• Monitor and log mail and report contraband items.
• Ensure cell doors are locked/secure and account for prisoners.
• Assist in reception tasks and search incoming properties.
• Supervise prisoners and assist with their movements.
• Deliver and collect food trolleys.
• Transport prisoners and collect mail as required.
• Maintain log of prisoner phone requests and audit paperwork.
