Print Operator – 5 Crew Doncaster Plant Role description

We are looking to recruit a Print Operator, to operate screen printing machines to a high-quality level and optimise efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Operate screen print machine maintaining high efficiency level.
  • All lines supplied with materials (naked glass and printing ink etc.) ensuring each line is run to its full capacity
  • Responsible for problem solving and fault finding within the standard operating procedures
  • Ensure customer’s print specifications are achieved
  • Responsible for the print Quality
Required skills / qualifications
  • Operate screen print machine in accordance to SOP’s
  • Interpret Artwork Specification information
  • Ability to pack glass manually in event of equipment failure
  • Ability to recognise basic mechanical malfunctions & container defects
What we offer
  • Salary Minimum £38,379 - £43,696 per annum (1776 hours)
  • Salary sacrifice pension scheme with up to 10% matched contributions
  • Normal shift pattern is determined by the 5-crew shift rota, however, typically consists of a two 12-hour day shifts followed by two 12-hour night shifts and then a six-day rest period, which includes 21 shifts when working the 5 crew 12-hour shift rota - Holidays are built into the shift 5 crew rota
