We are partnering with a public sector organisation to recruit an experienced Principle SharePoint Specialist to play a key role in delivering innovative SharePoint solutions and leading technical initiatives across a complex digital environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a SharePoint expert who enjoys driving modernisation, mentoring others, and shaping the future of digital services.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Deliver creative, practical SharePoint solutions that meet business needs and align with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Lead the execution of SharePoint and Microsoft 365 projects, ensuring milestones and performance metrics are met.
  • Mentor and supervise junior team members, ensuring high-quality technical output and supporting their development.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, partners, and suppliers—translating complex technical requirements and ensuring exceptional customer service.
  • Support service planning and contribute to ICT strategy, identifying opportunities for improvement and cost efficiency.
  • Produce and maintain high-quality documentation to support systems, processes, and knowledge sharing.
Key Skills & Experience Needed
  • SharePoint 2013+ and SharePoint Online administration, configuration, and development
  • Migrating to SharePoint Online, ideally using ShareGate and SPMT
  • Re-engineering workflows and forms using Power Automate and Power Apps
  • PowerShell scripting
  • Client-side SharePoint development, including SPFx, Yeoman, Gulp, and TypeScript
  • Using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, etc.) – desirable
  • Document and records management best practice
  • Metadata and taxonomy management
