I'm working with a leading consultancy in Bristol who are looking to bring in a Principal Transport Planner with a strong background in development planning. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic, forward-thinking team where you'll be at the heart of shaping transport solutions that influence planning applications, masterplans, and sustainable development across the South West and beyond.

What you'll be doing

• Leading on transport assessments, travel plans, and access strategies for a variety of development projects.
• Managing client relationships, winning work, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest standard.
• Mentoring junior colleagues and playing a key role in the growth of the team.
• Engaging with local authorities, developers, and stakeholders to unlock sites and deliver practical, sustainable transport solutions.

• Proven experience in development planning, ideally at Principal level or ready to step up.
• Strong technical knowledge in transport assessments, junction modelling, and sustainable travel planning.
