Key Responsibilities:

The Principal Test Equipment Engineer leads engineering support for calibration, repair, maintenance, and safety testing activities, ensuring equipment availability across manufacturing, labs, and customer sites worldwide. The role involves site visits, stakeholder communication, and asset management, requiring strong technical and leadership skills.

Responsibilities include managing support teams, developing partnerships with customers and suppliers, planning activities, influencing design for supportability, and driving continuous improvement.

Skills & Qualifications:
  • HND/Degree in an engineering discipline
  • Experience in team leadership or desire to develop leadership skills
  • Strong teamwork, customer focus, and relationship-building abilities
  • Technical problem-solving and fault-finding skills in complex electronics
  • Knowledge of measurement systems and product lifecycle is advantageous
  • Experience with Radar, Lasers, Electro-Optics, or test equipment is beneficial
