Overview

Principal Technical Manager - MEP Background - £90 - 95k + Car + Package - London

I am currently working in partnership with a leading Main Contractor who is looking to appoint a Principal Technical Manager to their London office to manage and lead a variety of projects ranging from Commercial to Pharma to Data Centres to Mixed Use Schemes. The company are one of the largest privately-owned construction companies within the UK with a full order book for the next 2 years and even more work in the pipeline. They work closely with specialist sub-contractors to produce high-quality projects with great value to the client.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the contractors' proposals and produce project-specific scope of works.
  • Review M&E design on all projects you are managing.
  • Produce design programmes with relevant teams and improve the technical quality output of internal and external teams.
Qualifications / Experience
  • Experience managing and leading projects as well as project teams.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Electrical Design and related disciplines; understanding of life cycle cost and value creation.
  • Ideally have worked for an MEP Consultancy and an M&E contractor, with primary emphasis on Electrical Design knowledge.
