Job Title: Principal Operations Engineer

What you'll be doing:
  • Liaise with Strategic Weapon Test Organisation (SWTO) Commissioning engineers and project leaders
  • Provide technical input to TSST (Technical Services Support Team)
  • Handle Polaris Sales Agreement (PSA) material and documentation
  • Review and amend SWS documentation and information
  • Manage tooling requirements from technical documentation
  • Manage SWTO notifications and defects
  • Liaise with external and internal departments
Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Technical background in electrical or mechanical discipline
  • Testing background

Desirable:

  • HNC in electrical or mechanical engineering
  • Knowledge of Strategic weapon systems

The Technical Services Support team:

As a member of the Strategic Weapon Organisation Technical Services Support Team (TSST), you will help manage the delivery of the Shipyard Installation Test Programme (SITP) for the Dreadnought class Submarines. You will be responsible for supporting the TSST Project Manager, providing the technical input and experience to TSST. You will have the opportunity to integrate with multidisciplined teams and liaise with both internal and external customers.

We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
