A leading engineering staffing provider is seeking a Principal WTG Engineer in London for a long-term contract. The role involves turbine design support and collaboration with external contractors. Ideal candidates should be Chartered Engineers with experience in aeroelastic and aerodynamic design for both floating and fixed offshore wind substructures. Qualifications

• Ability to build and verify aerodynamic models of the turbine.
• Experience managing turbine controller tuning and development.
• Familiarity with writing top-quality technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Building and verification of aeroelastic model of the turbine.
• Managing the turbine controller tuning and development.
• Performing all required checks of the turbine and controller.
• Supporting turbine tower design.
• Monitoring and verifying the ILA.
• Liaising with external contractors related to turbine model and controller.
• Participating in technical meetings with clients.
• Providing support for advanced structural analyses and numerical simulations.
