Department: Marrons - Marrons - Heritage - Heritage - 2405
Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time
Location: Birmingham
Reporting To: Hannah Hamilton-Rutter
We can offer you:
This role reflects our expanding remit and influence in the heritage planning sector and the growth of our team with new people, skills and aspirations. We have a broad client base working across a wide spectrum of projects across the UK and as Principal Heritage Planner or Associate Heritage Director, you’ll have the opportunity to continue to develop your career working collaboratively with colleagues within our multi-disciplinary consultancy.
It is anticipated that the role will vary and develop as our market and geographies continue to grow and this will also be driven by your own skillset as well as your aspirations to take on more responsibilities and widen your role within the organisation. If the position of Associate Director is sought, candidates will be asked to provide a summary business case based on the value of existing and potential client relationships.
You will take the lead on a number of projects from the outset, working closely with colleagues and clients to manage schemes at all levels from initial advice and early-design stages to the submission of applications for planning permission and listed building consent.
Key responsibilities:
This role will be principally focused on built heritage and your experience should complement our background and reputation for both strategic land and development management projects, working with a wide range of clients from land promoters, house-builders, architects, planners and private individuals.
Essential Requirements
We embrace agile working and offer a blended approach to where and how we work.

We have hubs in Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, Leicester, London, Lincoln, Milton Keynes, Nottingham, Solihull, Southampton, Stratford-upon-Avon and Sheffield.
This role is hybrid with the flexibility to be based in either our Nottingham, Leicester, Birmingham or Stratford upon Avon hubs.
