I am pleased to announce that we are looking for a Principal Ecologist to join a well-established team in Oxford. The team have been established for 15 years now and are looking to expand further due to an influx in projects. You would be working on a range of projects from renewables, residentials, paragraph 80, conversions and estates. Responsibilities

  • Line-manage, mentor, and support junior ecologists to deliver excellence
  • Design and implement ecological surveys and mitigation strategies, including Phase1 / NVC and protected species work
  • Provide technical review and quality assurance on complex ecological reports

Requirements

  • Genuine passion for ecology, with demonstrable enthusiasm for environmental work
  • Survey licence or proven specialism in taxa such as bats, newts, botany, or invertebrates
  • Chartered (or eligible) membership of CIEEM and valid UK driving licence
