A dedicated recruitment agency for educators seeks a committed 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil at a private school in Exeter. The successful candidate will work from 9:15am to 12:30pm, Monday to Friday, starting on January 5th until the summer break. Ideal candidates should have or be willing to acquire a DBS check and possess experience in a Teaching Assistant role with an understanding of SEND requirements. Strong communication skills are essential for this role.

Teaching Personnel has been approached on behalf of a Head Teacher for a Year 3, 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a Private School in Exeter.

The proposed hours are 9:15am -12:30pm, Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will start on the 5th January, continuing until the summer break.

The successful candidate will be an individual with:
  • A DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
  • Experience within a Teaching Assistant role
  • A keen interest and understanding of SEND and additional learning needs
  • The ability to support a pupil’s learning on a one-to-one basis
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
