Randstad Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary or secondary school in your local area. This is a full-time, term-time only role (Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm), starting September 2025.

What you'll do:
  • Support students with their learning in class and in small groups

  • Assist the class teacher with planning and classroom management

  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment

  • Provide additional support to pupils with SEND or EAL needs

  • Foster strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

What we're looking for:
  • Experience working with children (school-based or similar)

  • A patient, caring, and proactive attitude

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • An understanding of safeguarding procedures

  • DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
