Primary Teaching Assistants – Tameside Job Title: Primary Schools across Tameside State Date: Starting January 2026 Details: Full-time – Day-to-Day & Long-Term Roles Pay Rate: £90–£100 per day (depending on experience)

Responsibilities
  • Providing 1:1 support for children with additional learning needs
  • Supporting small group interventions in literacy, numeracy and social skills
  • Working closely with class teachers and SENCOs
  • Encouraging engagement, independence and confidence in the classroom
