Job Title: Primary Teacher needed!

Salary: £170-£220 per day?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a lovely primary SEND School in Wednesbury supporting with their recruitment for a SEND Primary Teacher. The setting focuses on pupil development, with an intrinsic desire to progress academically and in their emotional, social and behavioural skills.

The school is seeking a passionate team player for a long-term role. The successful SEND Teacher will bring a new dimension and skill set, be keen to develop their own skills to adapt to the children’s individual needs and have a positive impact on the wider school.

The position will involve working with students across all Key Stages with diagnoses including Autism/ASD, SLD/Severe Learning Difficulties, PMLD/Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties and challenging behaviours. A proactive thinker who can take control of situations confidently is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Work with students across all Key Stages in a SEND environment with Autism/ASD, SLD and PMLD.
• Assist with supporting emotional, social and behavioural development.
• Be proactive and able to manage class situations confidently.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with additional needs/disabilities
• Experience working with students with Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) and challenging behaviours
• Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
• Team-Teach or MAPA qualifications desirable
