Job Opportunity: Primary Teacher – Mixed Year 2/3 Class

Location: Beautiful Rural Village School, Cumbria
Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
Contract: Temporary (with potential for long-term)
Pay: Competitive daily rate (£100–£150, DOE)

Nestled in a picturesque village setting, this school offers a warm, inclusive atmosphere and a strong sense of community. We’re seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to lead a mixed Year 2/3 class, delivering high-quality learning across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

About the Role

As the class teacher, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons for a mixed-age class
  • Supporting pupils’ academic progress and personal development across KS1 and KS2
  • Collaborating with Teaching Assistants to meet the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Creating a nurturing, inclusive, and inspiring classroom environment

This is a full-time role, but flexible arrangements may be considered for the right candidate.
