Primary Teacher

  • PPA teacher
  • Westhoughton area
  • Monday to Friday 8.30am -3.30pm
  • From 130- 211 depending on experience
  • Start February until July 2026

We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Primary Teacher who is looking for a full time Monday - Friday role to cover PPA within a primary school in the Westhoughton area of Bolton.

The Primary School is 1 form entry school with a dedicated staff and supportive SLT, this school is oversubscribed and in high demand from parents and is in an affluent area.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a proven track record of success in teaching and be happy to cover PPA across the school from year 2 to year 6. You should be passionate about engaging children and helping them to achieve their full potential and should be committed to fostering a safe and supportive learning environment for all.

Qualifications & Responsibilities

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:

  • Be a qualified teacher with QTS
  • Experience of working within both KS1 and KS2
  • Experience of working in a relevant classroom environment
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
  • Legal right to work in the UK
