Overview

Primary School Teacher (QTS) – Leeds – Full-Time

Axcis Education is currently recruiting a fully qualified Primary School Teacher (QTS) to join a thriving mainstream primary school in Leeds. This is a full-time role for a confident and committed classroom practitioner with recent, relevant experience in UK primary education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, inclusive lessons tailored to meet the needs of all learners, including pupils with special educational needs (SEN).
• Use differentiation, scaffolding, and chunking techniques to make learning accessible and engaging.
• Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and a child-centred approach to teaching and learning.

Essential Requirements

• Fully qualified with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Proven experience teaching in a UK primary school
• Confident in adapting lessons for pupils with a range of SEN and learning needs
• Skilled in scaffolding tasks and chunking information for clarity and accessibility
• A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
• Excellent classroom management and a commitment to inclusive education
