Qualifications

• Experience in coaching or teaching children, preferably in a primary school setting.
• Strong understanding of age-appropriate sports activities and child development.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire and motivate young children.
• Creative, patient, and enthusiastic with the ability to make sessions fun and engaging.
• Organised and capable of planning structured yet flexible coaching sessions.
• Relevant coaching qualifications or certifications desirable, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate, engaging sports sessions for primary school children.
• Focus on developing fundamental movement skills and coordination through fun activities.
• Encourage teamwork, good sportsmanship, and respect among participants.
• Provide positive, constructive feedback that motivates children to improve.
• Monitor each child’s progress and celebrate achievements.
• Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all children.
• Keep up to date with best practices in coaching and safety standards.
