Overview

Are you a recent graduate looking to gain valuable experience supporting children in their everyday learning? This Primary School Learning Support Mentor role in Redbridge, London is for you. The school is seeking a dedicated individual to join their team ASAP, providing tailored support to students on a daily basis.

As a Learning Support Mentor, you will lead tailored support sessions with students who have additional needs across the school, helping them to improve in areas of academic weakness. You will work with SEN needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, Speech & Language, etc. You will need to be adaptable, tailoring your approach to each student.

This role is ideal for graduates aiming to gain experience toward future career goals, including roles such as Educational Psychologist, Teacher, Clinical Psychologist, Speech & Language Therapist, Youth Worker, or Counsellor.

Learning Support Mentor: The Role

  • Assisting students across KS3, KS4 & KS5
  • Holding 1:1 and group academic support sessions
  • Promoting a purposeful and supportive learning environment
  • Supporting SEN students regularly (ASD, ADHD, SP&L, etc.)
  • Full-time position with ASAP start
  • Located in Redbridge, London
