Overview

Are you an experienced Primary Art teacher or DT teacher seeking a part-time teaching role in Wandsworth?

  • October / November 2025 start
  • Part-time role: 1 to 2 days per week (flexible)

Here at Academics, we are currently working with a super Primary school in Wandsworth to find a passionate Art / DT teacher to work across the Primary year groups and bring this subject to life with the children. The Primary School is based in the heart of Wandsworth with excellent travel links. The school is 1 Form Entry and offers an enriched curriculum that the children thoroughly enjoy and makes learning fun.

The school has a room dedicated for ART / DT and the successful Art / DT Teacher will have a wide range of resources to use. You will need to be competent at planning and delivering high quality, exciting lessons for children from Reception to Year 6.

Responsibilities

The role involves delivering Art and/or Design & Technology lessons across Key Stages, planning engaging lessons and assessing pupil progress. The Headteacher is ready to interview and appoint now for an October half term start or sooner. The role can be 1 or 2 days per week depending on your needs and availability and can be flexible on days worked. The role will be for the 2025/26 year in the first instance with the opportunity to extend for the next academic year.

Qualifications
