We’re looking for a proactive, collaborative Pricing & Costing Analyst to join our growing team in a brand‑new role. Focused on expanding our energy services, you’ll help shape how we price and position our solar and battery solutions, making sure they’re commercially robust and support the transition to clean, local energy. You’ll combine insight, analysis, and commercial thinking to develop pricing strategies that drive sustainable growth while staying true to our purpose.
Working closely with teams across Energy Services, from procurement and finance to sales, operations and propositions, you’ll help turn complex cost and market information into clear, actionable strategies. You’ll also play a key role in strengthening the integrity of our pricing models and processes, ensuring that every proposal we put in front of a customer is fair, competitive, and grounded in real‑world performance.
Whether uncovering new commercial opportunities, validating how projects have delivered against expectations, or refining our models and systems to support future innovation, you’ll be part of a team driving real change in how customers generate and store their own clean energy.
You’ll take ownership of maintaining and updating all cost inputs, ensuring every proposal we put in front of customers, both domestic and commercial, is rooted in accurate, robust assumptions.
Assess performance against our business targets, spot opportunities for improvement, and help steer our growth through well‑informed commercial decisions.
From procurement, finance to sales, operations and proposition teams, you’ll build strong collaborative relationships and translate complex pricing insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
Help us win business sustainably by designing pricing strategies that balance customer value, commercial viability, and our broader financial ambitions.
Collaborate closely with procurement to embed best practice and maintain a clear line of sight from supplier terms to customer quotes.
Carry out retrospective cost analysis to test pricing assumptions, understand variances, and support margin stability for future projects.
Work with the finance team to align pricing decisions with long‑term planning, reporting and profitability goals.
Partner with cross‑functional teams to explore innovative propositions and market opportunities that drive sustainable growth in our Energy Services business.
As a commercially sharp, analytically confident analyst, you’ll thrive when working at pace. You’ll enjoy getting into the detail, turning complex data into clear insight, and using that insight to shape smart, commercially sound decisions. As a natural collaborator, you’ll build trusting relationships, communicating clearly, and influencing across teams and the business, valuing the importance of stakeholder management.
Above all, you’ll bring a proactive, solutions‑focused mindset and a desire to contribute to meaningful, sustainable growth.
Our head office is in Chippenham, Wiltshire, with additional offices for our Services in Ringwood and Lincoln. We’re flexible on where the right candidate is based, though we’d expect weekly visits to one of these offices and a monthly visit to Chippenham. If you’re located further away, don’t worry, we can discuss options and travel expectations during the interview. We’d much rather have an honest one‑to‑one conversation and find a set‑up that works for the right person.
We offer both formal and informal flexible working options. Full‑time hours are 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday. The office is fully accessible, allowing everyone to participate fully in their working lives regardless of any mobility challenges.
