A prominent fire service in Greater Manchester is seeking a dedicated Prevention & Education Trainer. This role involves delivering and assuring high-quality training programs while promoting safety education across communities. Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service is the second largest Fire Service in the country, serving a population of 2.5 million people. We are constantly developing new strategies to fulfil our goals in making Greater Manchester communities safer and stronger.
As Prevention & Education Trainer, reporting into a Prevention & Education Training Officer, you will be responsible for the delivery and quality assurance of Prevention training and learning programmes. You will be a key participant in the creation and delivery of Prevention training to a variety of audience and you will take the lead on some projects. You will support Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service’s overall strategic goals relating to Prevention by ensuring people are trained to high standards.

Ideally you will have previous experience of developing creative resources and delivering training to a wide range of groups. But vitally you will have the confidence and skills to deliver fresh and innovative sessions.
