Hours: 7.00am‑4.00pm, 1pm finish Friday

Overview

Our client is looking for a hands‑on Press Supervisor to lead their Press Department. You'll be responsible for managing a small team, ensuring production targets are met, and maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Day to Day Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate your team to achieve production targets and quality standards.
  • Monitor performance using KPIs and drive continuous improvement using Lean principles.
  • Ensure safe working practices and adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • Manage day‑to‑day resources, production planning, and machinery availability.
  • Support training, development, and performance of team members.
  • Resolve production issues and support customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve processes and results.
Skills and Experience Required
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing/press environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot problems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ideally Sage 200.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Self‑motivated with a strong work ethic.
