Job description

Are you an experienced Press Operator looking to join a well‑established, friendly team with a successful Manufacturing company in Birchwood? You will be responsible for manufacturing metal products by setting up and operating a CNC Turret Punch Press. You'll maintain high standards and work proactively to improve productivity and efficiency. Full one-to-one training will be provided by an experienced team member.

Location

Birchwood, Warrington

Working Hours

Monday - Thursday: 06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00

Friday: 06:00 - 11:30 / 11:30 - 17:00

Salary

Dependent on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Manufacture perforated metal products to customer specifications
• Set up and operate CNC Turret Punch Press equipment
• Check accuracy of work against engineering drawings using precision measuring tools
• Transport raw materials using a 4.5t counterbalance FLT (training provided)

Essential Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in an industrial environment
• Knowledge of various metals
• Ability to use precision measuring equipment (Vernier Calipers, Micrometers)
• Experience with punch and die tooling (advantageous)
