Job summary

A lovely independent nursery in Bramdean is seeking a nurturing and confident Preschool Lead to provide exceptional early years education to up to 14 children. The ideal candidate will plan lessons, work with a committed team, and ensure a supportive learning environment. Candidates must hold a Level 3 qualification or higher and be ready to engage with children through play and exploration, creating a home-like setting. This is a full-time role offering 6 weeks of leave annually.

Job description

We are looking for an inspiring, confident, nurturing person to take on the role of Preschool Lead at our wonderful independent countryside nursery in Bramdean.

The Preschool Lead will work with the rest of the team to provide excellent early years education to a group of up to 14 children, with ratios of 5:1 or less.

We have a focus on a home from home environment and learning through play, with constant access to the surrounding countryside.

The Preschool Lead will have regular admin time to plan the weekly lessons and curriculum alongside our Deputy Manager.

Training and CPD opportunities provided. Regular team social and team building events. 6 weeks pro rata annual leave for 40 hours.

This role is available for 30-40 hours per week over 3-4 days. Level 3 qualified or above required.
