Job description

Premium Insurance Technician

This is an opportunity to work for an International Insurer.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing an assigned client portfolio, taking full responsibility of technical duties relating to client accounts, premiums and claims.
• Working with clients to assist with collection of funds.
• Managing all brokerage receivables, funding, retention, e-trading, post booking receipt, ad hoc reporting requests, payment of funds and all management and transactional process steps.
• Promoting, building and maintaining relationships with brokers, clients and markets.
• Participating in training sessions, and providing input within the team and/or department for all aspects of reinsurance service processing to assist with troubleshooting.

Ideally, candidates will have experience in the following areas:

• Excess of Loss (XOL).
• Working in a technical capacity for a broker.
• Using London Market systems such as ECF and LORS.
