Job summary

A global leader in the eyewear industry is seeking an Eyewear Area Sales Representative in South East England. The successful candidate will build and maintain relationships with opticians to drive sales growth and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction. This role requires proven B2B sales experience, strong self-motivation, and excellent communication skills. Offering a base salary of up to £42,000, with OTE of £70,000, a company car, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

  • Proven B2B sales experience, ideally within the eyewear or fashion sectors.
  • Strong self‑motivation with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and act on data effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Build, develop, and maintain strong business relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Work closely with the National Sales Manager to set annual customer targets.
  • Proactively resolve customer issues and handle complaints efficiently.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless customer support.
  • Analyse market potential and assess the value of clients.
  • Generate and follow up on leads, sharing opportunities with your team.
  • Stay informed on product developments and market trends.
  • Represent the brand at trade shows to promote products.
