Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Premises & Maintenance Technician to manage maintenance across three primary schools in London. The role involves performing various repair tasks, ensuring safety compliance, and working closely with school leaders. Ideal candidates should have strong DIY skills and be able to work independently across multiple sites. This temporary position has the potential to become permanent after 12 weeks, with a start date in January.

Premises & Maintenance Technician

Location: Across three primary schools

Contract Type: Temporary with potential to go permanent after 12 weeks

Start Date: January

The Role
  • Carry out a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks, including basic plumbing, carpentry and general DIY.
  • Ensure all school sites remain safe, secure and compliant with health and safety standards.
  • Complete daily, weekly and termly checks, identifying and addressing issues promptly.
  • Support and oversee contractors working on site, ensuring high-quality work.
  • Work closely with school leaders and site staff to keep each school running smoothly.
  • Manage your workload effectively across three primary school settings.

Candidate would need to drive.
