Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in Hinckley is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector in Precision Engineering. You will conduct inspections to ensure compliance with engineering specifications, using precision measurement tools and CMM equipment. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of relevant experience and demonstrates excellent communication and problem-solving skills. This full-time, permanent position offers a competitive salary of £37,000-£42,000 per annum, alongside various benefits such as a 4-day work week and company pension scheme.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a quality inspection role within aerospace or precision engineering.
  • Strong understanding of FAIR AS9102, Control Plans, FMEA, and visual inspection techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and technical specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections on in-process and finished components to ensure compliance.
  • Use precision measurement tools and techniques for accurate assessments.
  • Document and communicate inspection results clearly to relevant teams.
