Pre-Construction Project Manager - London & South East

We are supporting a market-leading provider of BEMS and ICT solutions. With a range of high-profile commercial and industrial projects across London and the South East, delivered to award-winning standards within a collaborative, employee-owned culture, this role lets you shape projects from concept to completion.

About the role :

As a Pre-Construction Project Manager , you will oversee new BMS and ICT projects during the early stages, ensuring a consistent, efficient approach to pre-construction planning. Acting as the key point of contact post-sales, you will drive early design and engineering, manage procurement reviews, negotiate supplier discounts, and issue project programmes aligned with contract timelines. This is a highly collaborative role, working closely with sales, engineering, and delivery teams to set projects up for success.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Manage pre-construction phases of BMS & ICT projects
  • Oversee order acknowledgements and support project handovers
  • Act as customer contact post-sales handover
  • Conduct procurement reviews and negotiate supplier discounts
  • Produce and issue project programmes and schedules
  • Drive early design, engineering, and project deliverables
  • Provide commercial and contractual input to ensure project efficiency
Skills & Experience :
  • Proven track record managing major projects
  • Strong knowledge of BMS / ICT systems and associated technologies
  • Good understanding of mechanical and electrical building services
  • Strong commercial and contractual awareness
  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Project, and web-based document control systems
