Overview

Reporting into the Area Manager, the Pharmacy Practice Manager role is a hybrid of both patient care and commercial focus that requires a strong leader with a passion for Healthcare, patients and driving a profitable business.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver all pharmacy-related targets and deadlines.
  • Manage pharmacy store pharmacist and pharmacy colleagues, support drive to top performing Asda Pharmacy.
  • Lead, coach and develop pharmacy team to deliver excellent patient experience and exceptional safety.
  • Take direct responsibility for support and development of all direct reports and locums to maintain high standards of professional service and compliance within GPhC standards and governance.
  • Collaborate with in-store, regional and home office teams for clinical or service queries.
Working Hours / Rota
  • Week 1: Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri/Sat 9am-9pm
  • Week 2: Mon/Tues/Thurs 9am-9pm
Qualifications & Experience
  • Fully qualified pharmacist registered with the GPhC.
  • Accredited to deliver national and local services for NHS and private healthcare.
  • Able to balance line manager and pharmacist roles to deliver a safe working environment.
  • Experienced in challenging, confronting and solving difficult situations whilst maintaining solid relationships in store and with field teams.
  • Valid GPhC registration, right to work in the UK, safeguarding qualifications.
  • All applicants required to undergo a DBS check and enroll in the live update service.
