As the Practice Manager, you willplay a pivotal role in leading, planning, and managing the day-to-dayoperations of the practice while ensuring high-quality patient care. You willalso have the opportunity to contribute to the strategic development of thepractice and the wider organisation.

The practice is run by three GP partners, supported by five salaried GPs, paramedics, a dedicated nursing team and the practice manager.

Main duties of the job

As the Practice manager, you will oversee all aspects of the practices, including:

  • Strategic and operational planning.
  • Financial management and income optimisation.
  • Human resources and workforce planning.
  • Patient service delivery and engagement.
  • Clinical governance and quality improvement.
  • Information technology and data management.
  • Health and safety compliance.

Job responsibilities

Your role will involve theoverall management and co-ordination of the practice, managing staff to ensurethe efficient running of the practice. You will also be expected to deal withthe practice finances, ensuring contracts and policies are up to date as wellas ensuring that the practice achieves long-term strategic objectives in aneffective and safe working environment compliant with CQC Regulations. Throughinnovative ways of working, you will lead the team in promoting quality andcontinuous improvement, proactively seeking opportunities and technologicalsolutions to improve the efficiency and stability of the business.
