We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Practice Manager to lead our team through a renewed focus on patient flow and patient journey management. The Practice Manager directs and supervises the day-to-day functions of the Practice, providing supporting leadership and management to all staff within the practice, and is responsible for line managing 4 medical secretaries supporting the 2 practice consultants. Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: Oversee clinic operations, ensuring efficient workflows and smooth coordination across teams.
  • Staff Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a diverse team, promoting a positive work culture and fostering professional growth.
  • Patient Care: Ensure high‑quality, compassionate care and a seamless patient experience from start to finish.
  • Compliance & Quality: Maintain regulatory compliance, implement quality assurance programs, and manage clinic systems to ensure excellence in patient services.
  • Financial Oversight of the clinic.
Qualifications
  • 4–5 years prior experience as a Practice Manager.
  • Proven track record of managing a challenging practice with fast‑paced patient flow.
  • Experienced working closely with consultants.
  • Private practice experience in a physician‑specific medical specialty – Endocrinology, Oncology, HPB, Gastroenterology.
  • DGL practice manager experience.
  • Experience managing appraisals of staff, allocation of resources, planning needs of department.
  • Several years of experience within people management, with strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills with a proven ability to manage a diverse team and drive operational success.
