A healthcare practice in Birmingham is looking for an enthusiastic practice manager to support the partners in developing the practice further. You will manage the day-to-day operations and work collaboratively with the team while ensuring the provision of high-quality patient care. We are a seeking an enthusiastic practice manager with management skills to support the partners in leading and further developing the practice.
You will be working with the practice partners and executive manager to manage the day to day running of the practice.
Experience of working in the NHS is desirable but not essential.
The PracticeManager will lead and manage with the Partners toensure the practice meets its agreed aims and objectives within a profitable,efficient, safe and effective working environment, and to ensure the provisionof high-quality patient care. The Practice Manager will embed a culture ofopenness, transparency and trust throughout the whole practice team. ThePractice Manager will lead the practice team through any change needed in theprovision of changing patient care via the practice, and as part of the widerNHS via the practice network.

The Practice Manager will keep abreast of current affairs and identifypotential threats and opportunities
Develop with the partnership and lead on the practice strategy;formulate objectives and research and develop ideas for future practicedevelopment
Develop with the partnership a practice business plan to ensure thebusiness meets its aims and objective
Ensure the plan is implemented and manage any change required
Provide leadership and management to enable the Practice to meet itsagreed aims and objectives.
Monitor and evaluate performance of the practice team againstobjectives; Identify areas for, and manage change needed.
Develop and maintain effective communication both within the practiceand with relevant outside agencies
Work collaboratively with the whole practice team to ensure theefficient running of the Practice.
Work professionally, flexibly with a practical approach which isessential in the NHS current climate of change.
Ensure that all statutory requirements are met
Represent and lead the practice forward, and maintain good workingrelationships with all relevant outside agencies and professional bodies
Lead the practice to ensure that efficiencies are maximisedacross the business
Work with an established networkof practices looking to further progress with the Primary Care Network DES
Any other duties deemed necessary for the running of the business.
