Role Overview

Reporting into the Area Manager, the Pharmacy Practice Manager role combines patient care with a commercial focus. It requires a strong leader passionate about healthcare, patients, and driving a profitable business. The role is responsible for achieving pharmacy targets, managing the store Pharmacist and pharmacy team, and supporting Asda Pharmacy's reputation as a leader in the field.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead, coach, and develop the pharmacy team to deliver excellent patient care and safety.
2. Ensure compliance with GPhC standards and clinical governance.
3. Support and develop team members and locums.
4. Collaborate with in-store, regional, and head office teams for clinical and service support.
5. Manage rotas and operational hours as specified.

Candidate Requirements

• Fully qualified pharmacist registered with the GPhC.
• Experience delivering NHS and private healthcare services.
• Strong leadership and motivational skills.
• Ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
• Must possess a valid GPhC registration, right to work in the UK, and safeguarding qualifications.
• Willing to undergo DBS check and provide necessary documentation.
