Job description

PR and Samples Assistant

Galvan is looking for a dynamic, experienced, and self-motivated individual to support Public Relations based out of the London studio in Notting Hill.

You will support and execute brand-building activities including celebrity dressing, influencer relations, external and in-store brand events, and creative collaborations. You will also support all initiatives related to VIP clients.

This is a hands‑on role where excellent organisational and time management skills are essential.

You will liaise on a daily level with the PR and VIP Manager and you will support the studio and/or events as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the sample room, ensuring that samples are tracked and kept in perfect condition
• Oversee logistics of all sample send outs and returns
• Support editorial, celebrity and influencer PR strategy and execution globally
• Support the press and marketing team to cultivate relationships with relevant influencers, top stylists and editors
• Work on the global events calendar and align with the marketing team to maximize brand visibility, heat and sales through editorial and red‑carpet placements
• Work with the marketing team on social media influencer strategy and community building
• Support development of regional and national media relationships
• Compile press recaps to share with senior management
• Stay informed on all industry news, key influencers, recommended vendors for reporting & other analytical needs

Qualifications

• A minimum of two years experience within fashion PR or marketing for a luxury/fashion brand or agency
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong follow‑through
• Deep understanding of popular culture, emerging social networks, influencers and celebrities by region
• Positive, can‑do attitude
• Ability to work efficiently in a high‑pressure, fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
