Are you an experienced M&E Engineer seeking a stable, well-paid role with no call-outs or weekend work? Join our award-winning Facilities Management (FM) team as a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) Engineer and take your career to the next level.

  • Base salary: £37,658 – £42,432 per annum (depending on experience)

What you’ll do:

As a mobile PPM M&E Engineer, you’ll travel between sites delivering planned preventative maintenance across a retail-focused portfolio. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • PPM on air conditioning systems
  • PPM on heating systems and heat pumps
  • Electrical services & emergency lighting maintenance
  • Some refrigeration PPM tasks (full training provided)

During seasonal PPM freeze periods, you’ll support the refrigeration or M&E reactive teams, taking ownership of planned maintenance, fault finding, and minor repairs. You’ll confidently deliver a wide range of mechanical and electrical tasks in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

What we’re looking for:
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations knowledge
  • Unvented Hot Water expertise
  • Strong HVAC and plumbing knowledge
  • Experience in retail or commercial environments
  • Ability to work unsupervised and manage multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of commercial refrigeration systems (desirable)
