A leading energy trading company is looking for a Power Scheduler in the UK to manage short-term electricity positions and ensure alignment with trader strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, fluency in English and another European language, and experience in the energy market is preferred. Responsibilities include managing market positions and training newcomers. The role offers a dynamic and supportive work environment with a strong emphasis on team collaboration.

Power Schedulers provide the interface between the short‑term power traders and Grid Operators. Each physical trader will act on the market in accordance with a view on the OTC, capacity market and power exchanges. Power Schedulers ensure that the physical positions of EDF Trading match the trader’s strategy at the European level, to ensure no value is lost.
