Overview

Power Generation Engineer (Training Provided) – Field-Based - Covering the South West

Salary: £38,000 - £44,000 + Training + Up to 15% Annual Bonus + Increased Earnings (Overtime, Bonuses and Call Out) + Van, Tools and Equipment + Healthcare Plans + 7% Pension + 33 Days Holiday Allowance

The Role
  • Maintain and service power generation equipment on sites across the South West. Carry out essential maintenance and repairs to Gensets (Gas Reciprocating Engines, CHP Engines and more) across landfill sites. Full training can be provided.
Responsibilities
  • Service and maintenance of heavy industrial engines, along with other power generation equipment such as CHP engines, Gas Reciprocating Engines and more.
  • Preventative, reactive and breakdown services.
  • Fault diagnosis - with record keeping and log taking.
  • 1 in 5 call out rota - paid at a standby rate AND enhanced rate.
  • Training and excellent benefits provided.
The Candidate
  • Mechanical Engineer - experience in maintenance and repair.
  • Time served or qualified.
  • Experience in petrol / diesel engine maintenance / overhauls / repairs.
  • Perfect for those in army, REME, HGV Mechanics, Power Generation, agricultural or heavy plant industries.
  • Happy to cover the South West.
