Job Overview

The Special Education Needs (SEN) Service is seeking to recruit a Positive Behaviour Support Analyst. The post will be in the first instance fixed term until 31st March 2025, subject to funding. The role is part of the Change Partnership Programme and will manage our Local Inclusion Support Offer that works alongside six staff to meet the needs of SEN children in mainstream schools with complex needs. You will directly report to the Programme Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities

You will form part of a multi‑agency team responsible for identifying support for children and young people who may be experiencing challenges in participating in the education system. You will identify a child’s needs and work with therapists and teaching staff to support progress in school and at home. Working with the team, you will provide support to the wider class and the school where needs are identified, and review and adapt behaviour plans as children’s needs change.

Qualifications

We are seeking a committed professional who must have a qualification and experience of behavioural analysis for SEN children and young people.
