Portfolio Management Support

We have an exciting new opportunity for a portfolio management support administrator role working in the heart of AWE's Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (ePMO). In this role you will actively support the Portfolio Management team and Project / Programme teams with the definition, balancing and control of the portfolio to optimise delivery. This role offers the opportunity to join a growing team and start an exciting Project, Programme and Portfolio Management (P3M) career with us.

As a Portfolio Management Support your role will entail:

  • Supporting the administration and maintenance of the Portfolio Dossier in line with the agreed framework and business rhythm.
  • Supporting and coordinating the internal change control process and providing guidance to Project / Programme control teams.
  • Provision of support and guidance to Portfolio Managers regarding change control, governance, and other management & integration process requirements.
Location

This role is based at Aldermaston, RG7 4PR. We are located in the Berkshire countryside between Reading and Basingstoke. This role is suitable for hybrid working.

Salary

From £38,140 depending on experience and suitability.

Candidate Profile

Whilst not to be considered a check list, candidates should be able to demonstrate some of the following:

  • Prior experience working with Project Controls in a change control perspective would be beneficial.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced administration or projects environment.
  • Robust stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Organisational and timekeeping skills with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple streams of work.
  • Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy of reports and documentation.
  • Proactive team player and the desire to foster good team morale and spirit to motivate others.
  • IT skills - including MS Office.

This job role is suitable for hybrid working, which is an informal, non-contractual and voluntary arrangement, blending a balance of attendance in the workplace (your permanent duty station) and working from home as a personal choice. If you are successful, any opportunities for hybrid working will be discussed with you prior to you taking up your post. The successful candidate is required to carry out all their duties from a UK location and cannot do so from an overseas location at any time.
