A county council in Aberystwyth is seeking a proactive Portfolio Analyst to support the Mid Wales Growth Deal. This role involves providing analytical insights, maintaining project oversight, and ensuring effective governance and financial management. The ideal candidate has a relevant degree and at least 5 years of experience in a Programme Management Office. Competitive annual leave and hybrid working options are available.

We are looking for two proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative individuals to join the Portfolio Management Office (PoMO) supporting the delivery of the Mid Wales Growth Deal (MWGD)— a transformative £110m investment from the UK and Welsh Governments, driving forward a £300m+ portfolio of strategic projects to grow the regional economy.
As a Portfolio Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of the MWGD Portfolio. Reporting to the Portfolio Planner, you will provide analytical insight, maintain oversight of programme and project performance, and support governance and financial management processes. Your work will help ensure strategic alignment, effective resource allocation, and informed decision-making across the portfolio.
